Press Release has been issued for BurNin’ Wars in CNP!
BGM/SE (Back ground music / sound effect) for CNP’s smartphone game “CNP BurNin’ Wars” by Tomoaki Oga, who also created the BGM for Pokémon Sun & Moon.
Press Release
Tomoaki Oga is a Tokyo native living in Kagawa Prefecture and has an impressive track record!
He also worked on the background music for Pocket Monsters Sun & Moon.
We are very happy to have someone who has worked on the background music for Pocket Monsters in charge of CNP’s games!
BurNin’ Wars is a smartphone game developed by CNP and Kayac Akiba Studio.
Kayac Akiba Studio connected us with Tomoaki Oga.
That was six months ago.
He agreed to our request at the right time from last November when CNP was in a weaker situation than now!
Tomoaki Ohga is a composer who mainly works on game music.
He’s involved in various games.
He has been involved in a wide range of activities, starting with Pocket Monsters Sun & Moon and Disney’s Wedding, for example.
When we asked him to compose music for a game last year, he agreed to do it because it sounded interesting.
The release date is July 10th, just a couple of weeks away.
The game is a tower defense game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from small children to adults.
It is a simple game that can be enjoyed even when there is no internet connection once downloaded.
We also happened to have a connection with Ohji Morino, who has been active in NinjaDAO since its early days, which was discovered during this space.
Ohji Morino is a singer, performer, cosplayer in the metaverse, and also Music NFT creator.
It turns out that Tomoaki Oga is the one who wrote all of Ohji Morino’s original songs!
It’s really interesting that there are unexpected connections like this.
This CNP is made possible by the connections between people.
It is because this project is made by everyone that events like this happen, which are connected by mysterious connections.
CNP is the result of connections that lead to various measures.
The same is true for the collaboration with Virtual Tokyo Dome held at Tokyo Dome and the CNP Summer store, a pop-up event held at Laforet Harajuku.
The fact that IPs grow and develop through human connections may be one of the features of IPs that are first created by the community.
IP is born from the community, and various measures are taken.
There is a term “hot start” and “cold start”.
In conventional IP, the creator keeps the project secret from the people around him or her, and the project gradually grows from there.
This is called a cold start.
On the other hand, an IP that is born from an existing community is already in a state where everyone is supporting the IP.
That is called a hot start.
Just getting something out into the world is a great thing.
Everyone can work together to make it happen.
The ability to provide something from a state that is not 100% is also a major feature.
Releasing something while it is still incomplete.
When Web 2.0 was launched, there was a phrase “beta version forever”.
Before that, packaged products were released in a perfectly developed state.
When it comes to web-based products, continuous improvement is the normal state of affairs.
When Web 2.0 came out, everyone thought it was new.
At this time, too, the product had to be good enough to be offered to the general public.
However, what comes out of the community can be released to the world in a state even earlier than the ” forever beta version”.
And then we’ll make it even better by having people play with it and try it out, solving problems as we go along.
CNP Friends is just like that!
On July 23rd, 2022, a press release for the “CNP Friends” smartphone application was issued.
Compared to the level of perfection required for a normal application, CNP Friends is being played from a very unfinished state.
If it were a normal customer, they would complain or get angry.
With that customer in mind, we can’t do what we’ve been doing since last September, which is to have them play with the app.
Companies have social responsibilities, and it’s not easy.
But when it comes from the community and we all work together to grow that service, I felt that it has a good chance of working.
If a company tries to do what CNP is doing, it will take years of time.
The way the people who use the apps are involved is very new.
It’s also psychologically safer for the people running the project.
The way IP grows out of the community.
Let’s continue to grow together and enjoy the amazing opportunities that come along from time to time!
