A new CNP character, Makami the wolf
This month we have a new CNP character, Makami the wolf!
He is CNP’s seventh character.
He is the partner of a ninja in the village of Iga named Shion.
Makami first appeared in January and was named “Makami” after the Naming Campaign.
Due to the recent contract transition, the project has been delayed a bit, but we will continue to work on this project again.
What is BurNin’?
It’s an event started by CNP!
The traditional NFT collection peaked in attention when it was launched and when it was revealed.
We wanted to avoid that somehow.
After a lot of thought, we created a system where the number of characters increases.
The total number of 22222 remains the same, but the number of characters increases.
Burn one of your CNPs (return it to its own clan) to attract a new character.
CNP started with 4 characters. Mitama, Narukami, Orochi, and LeeLee.
Then Luna appeared last August and Yama in November!
And Makami will appear in May.
Up to 2222 makami are available.
That means we are saying goodbye to up to 2222 other characters.
The distribution method of “katashiro”, the AL required for participation, will be announced soon.
We are putting together a story about the distribution of katashiro, and will let you know as soon as it is ready.
We will exchange the katashiro for a new character, Makami, in exchange for a set of katashiro and the CNP of your choice.
Previously, the BurNin’ event was getting a new one, but this time the token itself will stay the same, but the design, name and properties will change.
Makami, like other characters, come in many different variations!
There is also a Rainbow Makami.
Katashiro will be handed out in the middle of this month.
That katashiro is “the right to get Makami”, so you can sell it or buy it.
If you didn’t get a katashiro at the event, you can get one at the market.
You can get a new CNP character, Makami, with your own CNP and the katashiro.
That’s the plan.
It is difficult to get people to become attached to a character.
It is very difficult and time-consuming to get everyone to become familiar with a new character.
Over the past four months, I think everyone is gradually becoming more familiar with Makami.
We hope everyone will look forward to the appearance of Makam.
Let’s protect ourselves
CNP held in one CNP owner’s wallet has been transferred and sold.
It was 87 CNPs.
He managed to minimize the damage to CNP.
More than a dozen of the 87 were sold in collection offers, but the rest were noticed by Ikehaya, who was quick to contact the CNP holder to check on the situation.
There is a new feature that was implemented during the recent contract migration.
It is a feature that allows the management side to stop the trading of the stolen CNPs.
Using that feature, we were able to stop all 87 of them before they were sold on the market.
Some of the dozen or so pieces that had already been sold went to someone who really wanted them in a collection offer.
Others were sold right away.
We were able to secure the management of the items that were on the market.
What would have happened if we had not done the contract transition?
By doing the contract migration, we made sure that they couldn’t be handled by Blur.
Hackers tried to sell off 87 CNPs, but were unable to sell them off.
One of the main reasons for this was that they were not allowed to trade on Blur.
That made it very difficult to sell them off smoothly.
It was good that we were able to minimize the damage by the contract migration.
That CNP holder overnight shared the details of the damage to prevent it from happening again.
We are sure he is very frustrated, but let’s all learn from what he shared and protect ourselves.
He ended up searching Google for a new meta mask to put on my computer.
What you see at the top of Google is an advertisement.
Anyone can sign up for these ads.
They’ve created a fake Metamask wallet service and put that ad on it.
It seems that he registered my information when he tried to create a Metamask from that fake meta-mask page.
It could happen to everyone!
Let’s be careful and protect ourselves!
